My daughter Ella began voice lessons with Chase when she was 13 years old. At that time she was a scared, insecure girl who just loved to sing and wanted to get better and have fun.
The next two years was filled with laughter, tears, joy, and lots of learning.
Chase has an infectious love of music and taught my daughter music theory, how to breathe, vowel pronunciation, self confidence, projection, and most importantly; an intense love of music!
To her, he became her music guru. Their time together was a place, for her, of the celebration of the love she has for music. Being able to share it with someone who loved it as much or more than she did and could teach her all she needed to know about it was invaluable.
He taught her how to believe in her own voice and to love the process of tearing apart a piece of music and learning about in on multiple levels.
As a teacher chase was amazing! He is kind, patient, sweet, smart, and fun. He is also quite disciplined and supportive. He played the guitar for he at her 8th grade talent show and always did his best to lift her up and encourage her to share her voice.
We will forever feel the loss of him not being her teacher anymore, but the lessons she learned at his hands she will carry with her the rest of her life!
Forever grateful!
Jen Long.

On a micro scale, Chase is an excellent voice and instrument coach. He teaches more than just how to sing or how to play an instrument, but music and sound history and theory as well and in a way that is understood by children and tweens. These things are a given for most any music teacher. Where Chase really made an impression on my family was with the mentorship he provided our daughter. He was another adult voice in our household that reinforced life lessons. It is for this that we are truly grateful. We were saddened to see him go, but are happy to have had him in our life.

We initially hired Chase to teach voice lessons to my middle-school daughter. Those 30 minute lessons soon turned into 90 minute weekly music sessions at our house with Chase teaching voice and guitar to all three of my kids ages 7-13. The kids all enjoyed his laid-back teaching style and I enjoyed hearing them grow in their talent. His enthusiasm, positivity and encouraging words developed a love for music in my children.
